What’s the registration process for Indian physiotherapists specifically?▾
India isn’t on PBNZ’s fast-track “Express” pathway, which is currently limited to a handful of countries — Indian-qualified physiotherapists go through the General Pathway, where your qualification and experience are assessed against New Zealand’s practice thresholds. It takes longer than the Express route, but it’s a well-established path.
How much does PBNZ registration cost?▾
PBNZ’s own board fee is currently in the region of NZD 800–900, separate from Zlado’s fee, your English test, and document costs. We confirm the current fee when we start your case.
What IELTS or OET score does PBNZ require?▾
Commonly IELTS 7.5 overall with no band below 6.5, or an equivalent OET score, valid within the timeframe PBNZ specifies. We confirm the exact current requirement.
Is there an exam for PBNZ registration?▾
Not always — PBNZ may ask for a competence exam only if there isn’t enough evidence in your application to assess you directly. We help you put together as complete an application as possible to reduce that chance.
What visa lets me work in New Zealand after PBNZ registration?▾
Most registered physiotherapists move through the Accredited Employer Work Visa, with a path to residency after time in the role. We’re not immigration lawyers, but we can point you toward where to get proper visa advice.
